Princess

My little niece is so adorable! Mikell turned 4 on Friday and we had a little party. We gave her play dough and she was so cute and wanted to play with it right away. I loved being a kid.
Look at her cute princess cake! My sisters are amazing and did a cute job making a princess themed party.
I cant wait for my little princess! Today I had to buy this wipe cover because it is just so adorable! I'm excited to have our little girl. I"m now in the third and final trimester!!

Just a glimmer

We got all moved into our apartment over the weekend. Wahoo! THANKS family! We upgraded from our 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. I'm excited to get our girls room all set up! (pictures coming soon...)

Monday was crazy. I was sick (throwing up- I feel like first trimester is back- ew!) and our apartment had a little flood because our washing machine wasnt draining right. But Matt, my mom, Sabrina, David and Marcus came and helped me clean out the old apartment and rescued me from going insane. After a lot of hard work we walked into our apartment, turned on the fan, laid on the bed and slept. It was a perfect nap cuddled up with Matt and definitely the best part of our crappy day. I'm so grateful for dream dinners! I made dinner in about 10 minutes. We had delicious chicken stir fry. There were chow mein noodles and cashews added on top to add a crisp and it was delicious! Then we opened our fortune cookies and Matt's fortune was perfect. It gave us a glimmer of hope.

"Happier days are definitely ahead for you. Struggle has ended."

We needed to hear this. Lol. We enjoyed the rest of our night and realized we have a good life, great family, baby on the way, new apartment, best dog, good jobs, etc. We watched the Bachelorette and I took a nice, relaxing bath. I'm glad that day is over. It's good to remember the positive moments in life.

HARRY POTTER

The end of a great era...that will never be forgotten. Harry Potter!!

We saw the second part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on Friday and it was AMAZING!!! I loved it and will just have to watch all the movies over and over again because Harry Potter will never stop being in our lives just because it's the last movie.

We went on a fun triple date with Paige, Spencer, Ashley, Blake and us. We went to dinner at Goodwood and then saw the movie. Matt works with Blake and Spencer.

The other day I watched Rupert Grint and Emma Watson on Regis and Kelly and Rupert (Ron) talked about how he is 23. We are the same age. We have literally grown up with these characters and actors. I love it. I know I had a similar post last year here when part 1 came out last summer. I read the first book before the first movie came out when I was in 6th grade. I waited in line at midnight for the last book in 2007. I own all the books and all the movies besides the 7th and absolutely LOVE them!

26 Weeks

Today I had my doctor appointment and everything is going well.
26 weeks along

Are you happy about your pregnancy or just dealing with it? So happy! We move into our 2 bedroom apartment this saturday and I'm excited to do more nesting for our little girl!

Weight gain: 20 pounds!

Where did you find out your were preggers? I was in my bathroom at my apartment.

Symptoms- Some days none and I feel great and some days are complete crap and I just wanna stay in bed all day. I have a stuffy nose, allergies, dry eyes, achy lower back and legs, and occasional gagging. I have really weird, vivid dreams. (I still throw up, get head aches, and feel nauseous and tired once in a while but honestly you get used to it.)

Have you felt your baby move? Yes! I love it. She likes to twist and turn around in there.
On friday, after our great date night (dinner at a new mexican restaurant and hitting a bucket of balls at the driving range) we came home to watch a movie. As I laid on the couch and sat still for a while little Juliette starting moving around and kicking my insides. I had Matt hurry and feel my belly and he felt the baby kick for the first time! His smile was from ear to ear and just priceless. He quickly gave my big belly a kiss and talked to our little girl. It was adorable and he will be the best daddy ever.

What do you miss doing since being pregnantt- Lagoon, water skiing, hot tub, taking regular medicine, feeling good for more than a week, having energy.

Something I learned this week- sleep at least 3 feet away from electronics. I always sleep with my cell phone under my pillow. I read that anything creating an electro-magnetic field disrupts your sleep and can reduce the production of melatonin. I will no longer sleep with my cell phone under my pillow.

Do you have insurance? Yes, my works insurance is amazing.

Are you remembering to take your prenatal vitamins regularly? No, I quit taking them because they made me too sick. I'll just have to eat healthier.

Bellybutton: When I first saw this question on a questionnaire (when i was like 8 weeks along) I thought it was weird and just deleted it. But really your belly button does change. I've always had a deep innie and now its about to poke out.

What is the most surprising thing about being pregnant? How much your body actually changes. It is pretty amazing really.

Dream Dinners

Cooking- whats that? Haha Let's just say I'm not world's greatest chef, nor do I usually feel like making dinner after work so we end up eating something quick and easy or going out and it isnt very healthy. We need to make a change. I think I might have found a solution......Dream Dinners!

Last night I went to this place, Dream Dinners, on like 33rd south and 11th east, and made 9 meals that you can put in your freezer. At the place they have counters with all the ingredients, measuring cups and spoons, and they clean up after you. It is awesome.
And then you just pull a baggie out of the freezer and cook your dinner. I made firecracker beef sliders, lemon willa chicken with couscous (learned about so many new foods and spices that i'm actually excited to make dinner!), aztec steacks with black bean rice, sicilian totellini with chicken, steak caprese, stuffed french bread, tuscan chicken with fettuccine, stir fry, and coconut chicken with jasmine rice. They all sound so fancy, dont you think?
 I made Steak Caprese-
It took about 10 minutes and was DELICIOUS! It was steak with pesto, dried tomatoes and cheese.
I also made some red potatoes in our pressure cooker and it took 5 minutes. It was a great turn out for Dream Dinner meal #1. If you wanna check it out the website is http://dreamdinners.com/. And if you wanna go to make the meals let me know and we can go together. I went with Penny and Jessica, some friends from my ward and it was great!

Boam Family Reunion

Over the 4th of July weekend we had a family reunion with Matt's family. We all stayed over at his aunt and uncle's big house in Farmington. Some people went to Lagoon on Saturday, but I thought it was too hot and I cant go on hardly any rides since I'm pregnant so Matt and I just went up Saturday night.

The food was delicious and we played games and stayed up late talking and laughing.
On Sunday, after church, we did a humanitarian project. We helped make little back packs full of school supplies for children who cant afford them.
They have arcade type games, ping pong, wii, board games and a nice back yard that kept us all entertained.
The little kids liked sleeping in the backyard in tents.
Baxter had fun playing with Bruce. We love them!

Max, Jake and Chloe make me laugh.
One night we watched funny youtube clips and laughed really hard.
 I love this guy-
Edward is the cutest little kid ever! and loved to sing.
Speaking of singing...we had a talent show with some good and funny talents. Matt played guitar and I said the alphabet backwards and showed some of Baxter's tricks.

MINUTE TO WIN IT
We played 6 minute to win it games as teams. (Cameron, Lindsey, Matt and I were in charge of this one so I'll explain each game in case you wanna play at a family event, birthday party, etc.)

1. Card in the Watermelon- Slice a watermelon in half and stand 6 feet away. throw playing cards at the watermelon and get one to stick in within one minute.

2. Face the Cookie- place the cookie on your forehead. using only your face muscles get the cookie from your forehead to your mouth. get 3 cookies within 1 minute.

Tammis wins!
3. A Bit Dicey- hold a popsicle stick in your mouth, keep balance and stack 6 dice on top of each other, hold for 3 seconds within 1 minute.

4. Noodling Around- without using your hands, have a spaghetti noodle in your mouth and sting on 6 penne noodles with the minute.

5. Suck those M&Ms- place a pile of m&m's on the table, using only a straw suck up the m&m's and place them in a bowl. the team with the most m&m's after one minute wins.

6. Elephant March- put a baseball/softball in the end of panty hose that are placed over your head, without using your hands or kicking knock over 8 water bottles that are placed apart from each other on the ground.

It was fun and hilarious and we had a good time.

Happy 4th of July!! We love America, our families, freedom and religion.

Families are Forever

I know that families can be together forever. The temple is such an amazing place. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us as their children. I love Matt soo much and I'm thankful that we got sealed for time and all eternity! July 1, 2011 in the Salt Lake Temple. We had a wonderful day!

Thanks to all those who have shown us love and support. We love you!
The temple is beautiful inside and out. Our sealer was amazing and I really felt the spirit. I know that when we do our part and keep our covenants we can be together forever and live with God again.

Afterwards we all ate dinner at the Olive Garden and then that night Matt surprised me and we stayed at the Anniversary Inn. I LOVE being married!

Here are some pictures from the week before when I received my endowment at the Draper Temple.

We'll have to keep going back to learn more and more. We want to travel the state, country and world to visit different temples throughout our lives. I love the temple!
