Spay and neuter your pets

Tomorrow Baxter is getting neutered. When I thought about being neutered I remember Bob Barker, after every episode of Price is Right saying: "Help control the pet population. Have your pets spay or neutered."

Daily blog

Some might call it obsessed but I actually got this idea from my cousin Natalie like a year ago or something. I'm going to try to blog a post a day. Like a little journal for each day of the year. We'll see how it works out. You can see what I think about, do in my spare time and probably just have to skip over a lot of nonsense that I tend to ramble on about. Enjoy!

Hot Chocolate Already?

So it is August (supposedly summer) and I'm here at my desk drinking Hot Chocolate. WHY??? It is freezing cold. I'm not ready for this yet. Well it's not quite freezing yet, but it's 50 degrees, raining and I am shivering. Thank you hot chocolate. For lunch I think I'll have soup!

Have fun at SUU Sab

Last week my family and I took Sabrina down to Cedar City so she can start her freshman year at college!This post is dedicated to my little (or not so little) sister Sabrina. I cant believe she is old enough to go to college! I remember when...

we were so young I carried her around and we'd wear matching outfits!

And then seeing us grow up so we can share clothes now.

I'm so happy that you are going to SUU! Go Thunderbirds! I hope you love it as much or more than I did.

I could give you lots of advice so you dont do stupid things that I did, but frankly I dont think you will. Haha and if you do, you'll learn and grow up. But I do suggest, going to class, getting a job, having fun, make lots of friends, be nice, go to school activities, take advantage of the beautiful Southern Utah- hike, rock climb, and get to know yourself. Also- it'd be cool if you started a blog so we can see what you are up to!!

Good Luck Sabrina! College is SO much fun. You are so smart and will do really well in school. Have fun with your roommates, dates, activities, classes, everything!!

Fishing Fun

Last weekend we went camping at Payson Lakes with the Romero family. That is the perfect camping spot! We had a shady area for our tent, nice campfire for roasting, within walking distance of 3 lakes...to go fishing!

We had a blast and I caught this fish-

Lauren and Ryan had fun swimming and rafting in the lake

Matt caught this fish. We released the rest of the fish we caught. But we cooked this one and Baxter enjoyed fresh grilled rainbow trout for dinner.

It was very muddy- like sinking sand...

Our dog- Baxter- had such a great time camping and playing with Milo. Baxter is the best dog in the world. We love him!

Welcome to the fam Baxter Romero

No! I'm not pregnant. Lol. Even better! On Saturday we got a puppy! We love him! He is this tiny, adorable, lovable, 4 pound, toy poodle named Baxter. He is our first dog and we are SO happy to have him as part of the family. Look how cute he is- We decided to give him a haircut.

He loves to give kisses, sniff around like a little explorer, bark at himself in the mirror, chew on his bone, nap on our couch pillows, and play with me and Matt.

I am so happy and have always wanted a dog. Baxter is so smart and hardly ever barks. He can already sit and go potty outside. Matt is the best trainer ever! We are using a clicker to train him as well as his little doggie treats.Dogs are truly a mans best friend. Holding him is the most relaxing/peaceful thing in the world. Playing with him and watching him is so entertaining, I could just watch him for hours. Thats what we did all weekend. He is the BEST!

JULY HOLIDAYS

So in love...

I love July! It is full of holidays and family fun! For the 4th of July we went camping down at Palisade Park with all the Dickson's to Celebrate my grandma's 80th birthday!

My grandma LOVES America, Red, White, and Blue, and Hawaii. So we had a luau on the 4th of July. It was such a fun party. Grandma you are amazing and we love you!!

Everyone gave my grandma cute gifts- like drawings, letters, pictures, quilts, skits, stories, and we signed Proud to be an American in sign language.

The next weekend we went camping with the Romero Family up Provo Canyon. (I dont have any pictures..) But we used our new cozy tent and LOVE it!

23rd of July we went to a Bee's game and the Romero's got a suite and it was awesome! The fireworks after the game were the BEST I have ever seen or heard! It was a blast!

For Pioneer Day- 24th of July we went swimming at our aprtment pool and then went down to Scott and Jessica's house to celebrate.

Of course we did a photo shoot! Carson wants the hat back- what a cute kid!

Kenzie is adorable! and 9 months old The kids went swimming- Mikell was cold. We played badminton! And did fireworks!I still love sparklers! It has been SO much fun! I love July and I love Holidays!
