Christmas Traditions

I love Christmas time because we have so many get togethers and parties with family and friends. Not to mention lots of delicious food!
At Chuck-A-Rama with Juliette and Oakley

I made bows with my 2 sisters-

I'm feeling pretty crafty with this easy bow hanger (3 strips of ribbon taped in her closet and hooks for the headbands.)
When Matt watches Juliette this is how I find her...  He's training her young to love fish! She actually loves watching them and cooing like she's talking to them. Its adorable.
We had a Witt gift exchange and Christmas party at my parents house. We delivered gifts, had the nativity skit, exchanged brother-sister gifts (we draw names) and ate a fancy dinner. It was a great party!!
Matt, Juliette and I ate dinner at Braza Grill, starting our 1st annual Brazilian Christmas dinner.

We are SO excited for Christmas- Juliette's First Christmas.

our brave little toaster

Today Juliette got her 2 month immunization shots at the doctor. She only cried for like two seconds. She's adorable and still tiny. She weighs 9 pounds 6 oz, 21.75" long. She is in the 15th percentile for both. Her pediatrician said at this rate she'll grow to be 5' 2", short like mommy.
She is starting to laugh and babble. Its so much fun!

2 Months Old

The best Christmas present ever!

We love Juliette SO much and feel like she's been in our lives forever. I'm so excited for Christmas!! She is so much fun and starting to smile more and more. I think she knows who we are and recognizes when we are talking to her. She can shake her little rattle. She loves to sit in front of the mirror. She waves (but I don't think it's on purpose yet.) She can coo and make little noises. We have her two month appointment tomorrow so I'll see exactly how much she weighs. I absolutely love having a baby!

Fun Times

Friday night we had the annual Alpha Phi Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and it was a blast. It was fun to see everyone and show off Juliette in her little sweater. I love my friends!
I love Matt and Juliette too! Some nights we just sit on our bed and stare at her for hours and love every minute of it.
Once in a while we get a babysitter too and get to go out. On Saturday we went to dinner at Joy Luck and saw Arthur Christmas with Spencer, Alexis, Blake and Ashley. It was fun and a cute Christmas spirit movie!! I would definitely recommend it and I would see it in 3D for sure.

Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Romero for watching Juliette. She LOVES you guys. And we love going on dates. Look at this cute pic grandpa took of her on Thanksgiving.
I know I'm a little obsessed with her...but who wouldn't be...she is BEAUTIFUL!

Cousins

Little Oakley was born September 11, 2011 and got blessed last Sunday. She is so adorable!
Oakley and Juliette are only a month apart and it will be fun for them to have a cousin so close.
The kids all loved the iPad...and all wanted to play at once.
 I love our little family!!
 And our big family.
We also celebrated Carson's birthday. It was fun.

Glitter Shoes and Bachelorette Party

My friend, Ashly, is getting married in less than 2 weeks and on Friday we celebrated with a bachelorette party. The theme was
After finding a gold dress at the DI I decided to be Glitter Barbie! This is All that Glitter Barbie-
Anyway...so after looking on Pinterest (and getting sucked in for a few hours) I decided to make some DIY Glitter Shoes! This website was my inspiration- restylerestorerejoice.blogspot.com.
I got these white shoes at DI for $3
Bought modge podge (Michaels with a 50% off coupon) and glitter (anywhere but I got mine at Zurchers.) I also needed a paintbrush, paper cup and newspaper.
Mix glitter with modge podge in paper cup and paint the first layer on, then pour loose glitter on wet layer and let it dry completely. Then put on the final layer of modge podge, it looks white but will dry clear. Let them dry and wa-la-
Glitter Shoes!
No matter how old you are girls like to dress up! It was a fun night out and fun getting ready. I'm excited for Ashly to get married!
We ate dinner at The Pie pizzeria downtown and then went back to Sharli's house for Ashly to open gifts and have girl talk. I LOVE these girls! We had so much fun.
Normal is boring- the window says.
