Festival of Colors

On Saturday we went to the HOLI FESTIVAL at the Krishna Temple down in Spanish Fork. It was awesome! It was like a crowd of people with colored powder filling the air above us.

This is us at the beginning of the day.
and this is us at the end of the day-
Look at the crowd of colored people.

The Holi is a spring religious festival celebrated by Hindus. It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and other countries with Indic populations. It is celebrated by people throwing colored powder at each other. We saw this in the movie Outsourced and I've seen lots of peoples' pictures and thought it looked like fun. So Matt and I went this year and had a Blast!
