Juliette's 23 Months

This girl is miss independent. We love her!

She loves to smile, take selfies, play games on the phone and likes to "see it" after we take a picture. She likes to watch you tube videos about monkeys, nursery rhymes, songs, trucks, anything really.

This past month she has finally given up bottles and drinks chocolate milk in her sippy cup. She loves to go potty in the toilet and takes off her diapers if they are dirty. I think she is ready for underwear- I'm just not quite ready- but will be soon. 

She is really good at playing and staying entertained. She likes stickers and these pom pom balls. She can say all of her colors. She doesnt know which color is which but she is learning and likes pink. 

She can pretty much repeat anything we say and talks a lot. I have to be a translator sometimes but she has a good vocabulary. She can count to five and knows some other numbers. 

She can sing twinkle twinkle little star.

She loves her babies and thinks Lincoln is just one of the gang. 

 She is a water baby- she loves swimming and baths. Calls her swimming suit and swimming diaper a suit.

  She is such a good big sister and helper. She always throws away Lincoln's diaper and says "change you" and gets a wipe and clean diaper. She says "hold it" and will hold him for 2 seconds and be done.

 She is a monkey! She can climb into Lincoln's crib and pack n play by herself. One night she went upstairs, found the stool and brought it downstairs to help her climb. Too smart! She likes to turn the lights on and off.

She is very polite and will say please and thank you. She tells us when she is hungry and what she'd like to eat. Normally she wants a sandwich. At restaurants she asks for spaghetti and chocolate milk. She LOVES ice cream. 

She is obsessed with saying if people are "happy" or "sad" and needs to know what happened if someone got an owie or is crying. She likes to see people's owies and kiss them better. 

She is a good sleeper and sleeps from about 8:30 to 7:30 am. When I was on maternity leave she'd sleep in until 9 usually. When we tell her it's nap time or bed time she says COUCH and just wants to stay upstairs and lay on the couch. 

She folds her arms and closes her eyes during prayers and says "Amen"

She hates loud noises and gets scared and says "Hold you" and runs to my arms if there are loud noises.

She likes to read books, feed the fish and play outside. 

She loves dancing, music and can do somersaults. I want to get her into gymnastics.
