A mother is someone who

loves her children

is a good cleaner

helps with homework and reads to you

teaches you

waits up late to hear about your dates

helps you clean your room

cleans up your scraped knee and takes care of you when you’re sick

drives you to your friends’ house

supports you at you school activities and wants to be involved

loves your dad and shows you what it means to love

teaches you to pray

teaches you to share with others

teaches you about feeling and hugs you when you cry

lets you help even know they know it’ll get done faster and better without your “help”

plays games with you

tucks you in at night

asks how your day was and makes sure you are not scared

helps you move and helps you move on

gets mad at you because they know you can do better

loves you no matter what

sacrifices sleep

takes you clothes shopping

does your hair

wants the best for you and is willing to do whatever it takes to help you get there

is forgiving and understanding

is called mama, mommy, MOM!
